We are thrilled to invite you to explore the past and upcoming activities of our project. These engaging events are designed to bring people together, spark creativity, and celebrate the richness of our diverse community.

Workshop

During 2024 we met weekly at Antagon theaterAKtion and Protagon to play, train, sing, eat together within the SANE project group in Frankfurt, Germany. People from all over the world who have gone through migration experiences came together and shared their stories through various languages of art.

We embarked on an artistic journey to express various migration experiences with our bodies. No previous theater experience was necessary for this. With the guidance of Antagon and Protagon actors and educators, we created a special performance for the Frankfurt audience which was played at the Sommerwerft Festival.

Performance: Stories about new Europe

During the Summerwerft festival, the working group presented their final project. In a performance that took place throughout the festival area, the story was narrated by different actors who had migration stories in the first or second generation. The tools used went from puppet- and object theatre, over live music to stilt walking and dance choreography.

Transnational Meeting in Frankfurt

In February 2025 we met once more with our partner groups, this time in Frankfurt am Main, the base of Proton e.V.
Here we discussed the ongoing work on our handbook, the documentary movie and possible future perspectives of the Sane Project. With fresh new energy we continue our journey as more deeply connected partners.
